Centre of Expertise for Child Sexual Abuse

The Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse is funded by the Home Office and hosted by Barnardo's.

The Centre’s aim is to reduce the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response for young people and families. 

CSE is a form of sexual abuse, and if we are to tackle child sexual abuse in all of its forms we must understand the causes of sexual abuse, its impact, and the scale of the problem.

The Centre of Expertise for Child Sexual Abuse has a wealth of free resources, blogs and reports to support professionals who are working with young people and families who have experienced child sexual abuse in any form.
